While Time marches on, I keep walking.
Here I am heading on into my 80th decade, with a new pair of glasses [
newer than the ones I have in this photo] and I am indeed blessed beyond
measure, because I am now situated by the Pacific Ocean at Drayton Harbor, in
Blaine WA.
Look for my blog if you like to think
about what it means to be a Believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and if you are
excited about His Soon Coming. There is lots to live for, and much
to think about.
My verse for today is Philippians 3
verses 7 - 14
What things were gain to me, those I counted loss for
Jesus Christ.
Yea, doubtless, and I count all things but dung, that I
may win Christ. And be found in Him, not having mine own righteousness,
which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the
righteousness which is of God by faith, that I may know Him, and the power of
His Resurrection, and the Fellowship of His Sufferings, being made conformable
unto His death, if by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the
dead. Not as though I had attained, either were already perfect, but I
follow after, that I may apprehend [grasp hold of] that for which I am also
apprehended [grasped] of Jesus Christ. Brethren, I count not myself to
have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those thing which are
behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward
the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
