biblebuffjournal99 -WHITER THAN SNOW - Climbing Higher with Junebug

Lord Jesus, I long to be perfectly whole;
I want Thee forever to live in my soul,
Break down every idol, Cast out every foe;
Now wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Chorus
Now wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow,
Whiter than snow, yes,
Whiter than snow;
Now wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

biblebuffjournal99 -HE IS COMING SOON, ARE YOU READY ?

WALKING BY FAITH I KEEP CLIMBING

HE IS COMING SOON,  ARE YOU READY ?

OVER THE MOUNTAINS
OVER THE WATERS AND THE SEAS
OVER THE RIVERS
OVER THE LEAS
HIGH CLIFFS
LOW VALLEYS
VAST DESERT SANDS

ALL OF THESE ARE GROANING
FOR HIS RETURN.

SUNSET AT EVENING
SUNRISE IN MORNING
RAIN STORMS ON THE SEA
FIRE STORMS ON THE LAND
EARTH QUAKES UNDER THE GROUND
BRINGING US TO OUR KNEES
ARE WE READY?
DO WE UNDERSTAND?

JESUS SAID THAT THESE THINGS WERE THE BEGINNING OF SORROWS.   HE WAS SAYING THAT THESE WERE THE "BIRTH PAINS" BEFORE THE DAY OF THE LORD.

ARE YOU READY?  I AM.

biblebuffjournal99 - I AM A PILGRIM - GOD'S WORD MY MAP AND GUIDE

I AM A PILGRIM

WHEN NOAH ENTERED THE ARK, GOD SHUT THE DOOR.

HE WAS SAFE INSIDE, WITH HIS WIFE, WITH HIS SONS, AND WITH THEIR WIVES.  EIGHT PEOPLE.

I AM SAFE INSIDE THE "ARK OF SAFETY" FOR I HAVE PLACED MY FAITH IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST FOR MY SALVATION.   IT IS BY HIS UNDESERVED FAVOR IN MY LIFE, THAT I HAVE RECEIVED FROM HIM, THE CLEANSING OF MY SOUL FROM ALL SIN, AND I AM NOW BOUND FOR HEAVEN AS A PILGRIM.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR A PILGRIM:

   TRAVEL LIGHT.
                 HEBREWS 12. 1,2
"Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, dispising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."

I MUST KNOW WHO I AM.  I walk ever onward, shining His light in the darkness.
John 17.20   Jesus prayed "neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word."
John 10.27 "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me."   As a member of His flock, I know His voice, and will follow Him.

Wherever we roam

We may call it HOME

Mountains and lakes

Rivers and streams

Valleys and meadows

Shadows and sunlight

I John 4.15  "Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God."
John 8.12 "I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."

I MUST KNOW MY KING.  - The Shepherd. -  Wherever, whatever happens as I pilgrim in this world, Jesus is the King of my life.  He is with me wherever I am.
John 10.14   "I am the good Shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine."   John 10. 4 "And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice."
John 17.3   "And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent."
Abraham left Ur knowing God had promised
a place.

I MUST KNOW WHERE I AM GOING.
Hebrews 11.10  By faith Abraham..."looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God."
John 14.3   "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself: that where I am, ye may be also."
I MUST KEEP THINGS IN PERSPECTIVE.

I Peter 3.14,15   But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled, but sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear."
John 2.14  "Whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst: but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life."
I MUST BANK ON GOD'S PROMISES TO BE WITH ME IN EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENS TO ME.
Romans chapter 8.14 "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God."
Romans 8.28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His Purpose."
John 6.39   "And this is the Father's will that sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day."
               I MUST DRESS APPROPRIATELY FOR
                     THE JOURNEY.
Ephesians 6: 10 - 20   Put on my spiritual armor
           Matthew 6.33    Seek God first
Matthew 7.1 - 12   Keep the right attitude
I MUST KNOW WHERE MY RESOURCE IS FOUND.
Galatians 2.20 God's Faith in me.
Philippians 4.13   For anything God asks me to do, He will enable.
              Ephesians 2.14 - 18
He will give peace, because He is peace.

TRUSTING THAT I WILL ARRIVE AT
MY FINAL DESTINATION, I CHOOSE TO PUT
MY RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD ABOVE EVERY
             OTHER RELATIONSHIP.

      Colossians 2.6,7
                     AS YOU HAVE THEREFORE RECEIVED
CHRIST JESUS THE LORD, SO WALK YE IN HIM, ROOTED AND BUILT UP IN HIM, AND STABLISHED IN THE FAITH AS YE HAVE BEEN TAUGHT, ABOUNDING THEREIN WITH THANKSGIVING.

IN MY NEXT POST, I WILL SHARE MORE ABOUT  THE PILGRIM JOURNEY.

biblebuffjournal99 - HOW ABOUT YOUR HEART - HOW TO KNOW GOD

Your heart is very important.

Not just the heart that pumps your blood, but the heart the Bible speaks about.  You see,  Scripture speaks of the heart as the center of the emotions, the intellect, and the will.   God judged the world in Noah’s day because “every imagination of the thoughts of his [man’s] heart was only evil continually.” Genesis 6.5.

Jeremiah 17.9 tells us that “the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked, who can know it?”   Hebrews 4.12 gives us the answer “For the Word of God is quick and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
God knows your heart, and God knows my heart.       Because our hearts were corrupted with sin through Adam, our relationship with God was ended.   We became his enemies (Romans 8.6 – 7).  Romans 5.8  “But God commendeth His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”  Romans 6.23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”   Death is the legitimate result of sin, and we deserve no more.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life”  Jesus declared to Nicodemus in chapter 3 of the Gospel of John, that “as the serpent was lifted up in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up.”  John 3.14….He knew why He had come, and He knew what His Work was, to give His life a ransom for many, once for all.   Acts 8.36,37 tell us “And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See here is water: what doth hinder me to be baptized? And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest; and he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”

Paul writes in the letter to the church at Rome,  [Romans 10: 9,10]  That if thou wilt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
          How about your heart?

Is it right with God?   Have you believed on,
 put your faith
 and trust in Christ
for His free gift of salvation?

John 1.12 – 14. “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name, which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”

                GOD WANTS YOU TO KNOW

1.YOU NEED TO BE SAVED.
Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.  John 3.3
2. YOU CANNOT SAVE YOURSELF.
There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.    Proverbs 14.12
3. JESUS HAS ALREADY PROVIDED THE WAY.
Who His own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree”   1 Peter 2.24
4. BY FAITH ACCEPT HIM TODAY.
“And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be save, and thy house.”   Acts 16.31
5.  ASK FOR FORGIVENESS AND INVITE HIM INTO YOUR LIFE TODAY.   ACCEPT CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR TODAY.
“For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.”  Romans 10.10
“Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”  2 Cor. 6.2
